What is the product and how does it work? The product is a facial wrinkle and fine lines reducing hairclip. It uses small sections of hair to instantly provide a non-surgical eyelift or facelift effect. The device is discreetly hidden in your hair and is fully adjustable, depending on whether you want a subtle or more impactful result.
-
Is the product suitable for all hair types? It is suitable for mid-length to long hair of all types. As long as your hair is long enough to cover the product, you’ll be able to use it. As a guide, we recommend this to customers with normal hair type, from just above shoulder length to longer.
-
Who should not use the device? If you have fine or brittle hair, or any medical condition, including Traction Alopecia, it is recommended that you consult your healthcare provider before use. If any symptoms develop, discontinue use immediately. Warning: Traction Alopecia can occur from prolonged or repetitive tension on the scalp. It typically manifests as hair loss along the hairline due to the consistent wearing of tight ponytails that pull the hair too tight. Extra care should be taken if you have extensions. The product should not be attached to artificial hair integrations, weaves, or fake hair, as the tensioning process could cause damage or loosen the artificial hair.
-
At what age should I start using this product?People of all ages can use the device. We have customers who are in their 20s and those that are in their 70s. It can be used for an eyelift, ‘cat eye’ effect or to help reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines.
-
Is this product safe for colour-treated or chemically processed hair?Yes! This product is gentle enough to use on most hair types. If your hair is particularly brittle or has an unusual texture, we do not recommend using the product. Please consult our customer care team, a professional stylist, or a medical adviser if you are unsure.
-
Can this product be used daily?Absolutely! You can use it for special occasions, or every day. It can be loosened and tightened as required throughout the day. Warning: Traction Alopecia can develop from prolonged or repetitive tension on the scalp. It typically manifests as hair loss along the hairline due to the continuous wearing of tight ponytails that pull the hair too tightly. Therefore, we do not recommend subjecting the hair to extreme tension on a regular or daily basis. Users should adjust the tension to a moderate level if using frequently.
-
Is it painful?Unlike other facial wrinkle solutions, The Hairtox Twist & Lift Clip is completely pain free. The micro precision engineering means it is fully adjustable to suit the customer’s preferred tension level.
-
How long does the device last? The product is extremely durable and can be used again and again. It is easy to clean with soap and water.
